In economic terms, a large part of the cost of homeschooling is opportunity cost — the amount a homeschooling parent can earn in the job market. Combine a lower opportunity cost with an increasingly undesirable public school alternative, and homeschooling becomes a much more attractive economic proposition. Click the “Resources” tab at the top of this page for information on free homeschooling resources. You can cut costs without sacrificing the quality of your homeschool curriculum.

Our Children Have Their Say
September 4th, 2008 · No Comments
fter our first interview on August 19, Louie Free of Brain Food from the Heartland asked whether our children might be willing to talk about homeschooling from their perspective. We ‘ve always encouraged the children to speak for themselves, so on August 29, Louie Free interviewed each of the children on the air. The link should be up shortly in Louie Free’s archives. We’ll keep you posted.
